For sale is a stunning 1985 Mercedes-Benz 380 SL with only 74,203 original miles! The 380 SL was the second generation Mercedes roadster built from 1981 until 1985 on the R-107 chassis. The 380 SL offered bulletproof reliability, satisfying power and aggressive good looks, so these roadsters combined all of Mercedes' best features into a cultural Icon. This 380 SL is equipped with two tops – a like brand new and manually operated Soft Top in dark brown, and a removable metal Hardtop in thistle green 881. This 380 SL has a comfortable cockpit with burlwood accents, A/C, AM/FM, power windows, anti-theft and cruise control. The Power comes from the M-116 3.8-liter SOHC V-8 engine with Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection and delivers 160 hp and enough of torque to a four-speed automatic gearbox. The 380 SL has power steering, fully independent suspension and 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes with vented front rotors. The A/C blows ice cold and the steering is very tight for a 36 years old car. The 380 SL drives and shifts very smooth like you would expect from a low mileage classic Mercedes-Benz.
